The brothers retirement and a super 6 tournament.

For the US, simple a US champion.

I like Heavyweight just fine ll things considered, aside from the current crop of Americans. There's some good fighters, but they don't have the athletic gifts to be great.

This is one where you can't really deny the NBA/NFL argument: Look at the physiques of heavyweight fighters in the 1980's or 1990's compared to today; there's no comparison. The excellent athletes 180lbs+ have much better/more profitable options than boxing. Going NBA/NFL can mean at the very least free college, plus sign-on bonuses, guaranteed millions even if you turn out to be not any good once signing with a team. Boxing doesn't guarantee ****.

I don't think America will ever see anything close to the crops of heavyweights we had in the past century, but hey; times change. There's lots of great fighters coming out of Europe and still some from America now. Plenty of good fights to be had, even if they're not necessarily for the title.

Didn't you guys know that Ukraine actually produces the greatest heavyweights of all time? The day America decides soccer, cricket, and boxing are relevant sports again will be a terrible day for the rest of the world.

Better talent, and the best fighting the best, because Vitali and Wlad can't fight each other. Also, a dominating British and American HW would help no doubt.

David Price is the best shot for the future in the UK, and Bryant Jennings so far is the best American HW prospect as of right now. We'll see what happens.

If there's going to be one champ, which there basically is right now, he needs to take on the best consistently.

If he doesn't do that, and he isn't, all you get is a bunch of guys sitting around protecting their unbeaten records taking on overmatched opponents hoping to get the call or move into a mandatory to force the call.

                  exciting fights
the HW's now might be skilled and have some power
but most of them are big and slow and don't produce thrills
HW needs a guy who keeps an exciting pace and delivers KO's
Wlad gets the KO's but doesn't produce a fast pace, he's methodical
don't mind him, but understand why others do

Wait for Wlad and Vitali to retire. You don't have the two headed dragon any more and it gives more boxers time to develop and fight each other. The dominance from both Wlad and Vitali is one of the greatest things I've seen in HW boxing history.
