What will it take for the HW division to dominate once again?

Despite the dominance of the Klitschko's, there is a lack of draw, and hype to the HW division. What will it take for the HW division to rise and dominate boxing once again? Discuss.

i dont think it can..the smaller more skillful fighters are getting more and more popular and more coverage, the personalities of tyson and ali played a huge part in the divisions success and maintained interest, there are no such charactors around today and it would take more than that to reignite interest in the division after such a stale period...haha stale period lol...but people like seeing big guys ko'ing other big guys so we never know, im just not expecting it to happen any time soon!! gr8 question tho!

U mean for the US HWs right

And all they need is talent. Get that and youll be fine.

The HWs are a division which people wanna and still do love!

Quality competition. The problem with the division is a lack of talent, and the two best guys not fighting each other. If that changes, people will flock back to the heavyweights.

The Klitschkos dominance is one of the more complete ones in history. No-one else really has any chance against them.

Maybe when they step out of the sport (I think Wlad still has a while to go, however) the best will start to fight each other again and we'll see a more interesting division. Hell it looks like it has started already.

It's not going to be the '70s or the '90s however. The heavyweight division was uncharacteristically good then. Maybe that's gotten peoples hopes up too much.

Better promotion more personality talent and tournament and we get it rolling again plus no offense to Europeans but an American at least a few good ones so it ignites that euro/American fued which use to go on

Besides the American answer, it would even do a lot for the division if the fighters who were contenders would actually fight each other to build hype for a Klitschko clash instead of choosing mismatches and hoping to get their mandatory shot.
