For example, I'm sure you would factually point out manny has won 8 titles in 8 different weight classes. I would factually point out he won 2 of those titles at a catchweight, and one of them against an opponent who was 1-1-1 at the weight. So for you as a manny fan, his JMW title is an accomplishment worth recognizing. For me, its an accomplishment that should be laughed at, considering he and Margs fought at 150 and their combined record at time of title fight above 147 lbs was 1-1-1.
cant forget David Diaz at 135 was the worst title holder at the weight in recent memory....also both Cotto and Margarito were coming off the beatings of their life's and shaky performances...not that impressive hell Margarito wasnt even ranked at 154

IDk about Manny beating more hall of famers than everyone in his era but i do know Jones, Mayweather, Oscar De La Hoya all defeated more champions than Pacquaio

Roy Jones was considered p4p number one from like 1994-2003, Manny got that distinction by default becuase everyone thought Mayweather was gone for good now their is a dilemma becase every knows Mayweather had been dominating the sport before people ever heard of Pacquaio, and has more skill

He is a first ballot hall of famers....just not the best fighter of his era OR the last 25 years
      That means what?

        & if you retire, you retire. & roy's only been p4p 1# king for 3 years;96,99,03.

        Floyd 3 years; 05,06,07.

Pac 3 years; 08,09,10,11 & he's tied with floyd currenty in 12. If he beats bradley he will be back on top. making it a half a decade as 1# p4p.

          ALL FACTS.
from a publication...Mayweather has beaten more champions has a better championship record and has been p4p one of the best in everyones eyes since 1998....Manny didnt even touch the rankings til 2003-2004

Honestly you know the only reason the ring awarded him those years was because Mayweather is/was the clear p4p guy tho...he got it by default by the ring

Diaz was a bum but thats not Manny's fault. Just like its not floyd's fault Baldo beat Zab. But for ANYONE to legitmize the 154 title speaks to the real problems in this sport.

Ultimately, Manny has won titles during a period in the sports history where everyone connected to the sport has cheapend what thotitles and belts mean.

do you know how many belts & so called "champions" are in each division?

If you actually knew boxing instead of pretending to be a knowledgeable with your oldschool avi you would know that anybody can be a champion in today's high proliferation of belts & division.

but since it fits your agenda go ahead while i laugh.
