godfr33, one of my favorite fights, involving pernell whitaker, was his two matches against james buddy mcgirt, when pernell whitaker, beat buddy mcgirt the first time, buddy mcgirt, made a big stink, about a shoulder injury, and promised, that the shoulder kept him from beating pernell whitaker, then pernell whitaker, beat the brakes off of buddy mcgirt, in the rematch...lolThe contracted weight was 145lbs. Yeah, that's what I am saying. You couldn't just have great lateral movement against a calculated pressure fighter like Chavez. He was going to hit you. He was just one of those fighters you couldn't run from. You had to be able to MOVE your entire body out of the way of punches. Whitaker had excellent legs that nobody else had my man. He could dodge any punch. Pep and Floyd got hit way more than Pea did and Pea did it against THE BEST opposition possible. They couldn't touch him defensively.Comment

wow that is the smartest thing posted in a long timenot a fully fair fight. Both guys are very close to equal terms but SRL & Hearns were huge WW's or almost 154 pounders fighting at WW which is there very 1st divsion while Floyd is an extremely small WW who is in his 4th weight class. The better comparison is in a P4P sense where it would be a WW SRL vs a SFW MayweatherComment
