No question, Froch should go into the HOF in the future.

Kudos to Froch. He came into the fight ready to take Bute's head off and Bute wasn't ready for it. Froch was ready to take any punches and proved himself once again.

I'm a fan of Bute but after this display it's hard to see him take the belt back in a rematch. Btw this fight doesn't justify a rematch IMO. You can't aply the same tactics you had in 9 title defenses at home in a fight with a very determined opponent in his homeground. Bute should of had a plan B, instead he failed when tested, made it obvious that he doesn't have a good defense and went in survival mode fast.

I hope that in case of a rematch he will learn from this defeat and improve just as he did after the first andrade fight but I have my doubts.

Well he can go back to montreal and either take the rematch if he wants to or back to staying at home and fighting mediocre competition, I think he wanted to reassure him that he is a good fighter and thats the reason why he left montreal to come over to england.

That ass whuppin reminded me that what's SUPPOSED to happen isn't what always happens. We can speculate all we want to, but the fighters still have to go in there and fight. I thought Bute would find a way to force a slow-paced bout and pull out a close decision, but Froch was having none of that. It's like Bute had a "Hit Me" sign on his face cuz Froch couldn't miss at one point. The counter-puncher was getting counter-punched lol, ****in hilarious.

I really think the rematch would turn out like Lopez/Salido, where it's a little more back and forth but with the same end result. Bute lacks the punch resistance and the chin to keep up with Froch.

Lately after every Froch fight I wish more and more that Calzaghe would have taken his bait.

Question to me is, who has the better resume?

oh yeah he was certainly overrated by some and I was never one of those people who hyped him up, I'm just saying I understand why he was hyped. I mean, dude has some wonderful body shots and combo's, albeit against lesser opponents, but skill is there. But that Andrade fight was always in the back of my head and his nasty ko loss to Gennady Golovkin in the amateurs, I just always thought he was a KO waiting to happen.

If I'd want to nitpick I could take his resume apart a bit.But I guess you could do that to most.

HOF just seems a bit over the top.

                  Or maybe not.

nah those people were fools. Andre was right all them were fighting eachother and bute was fighting bums so he didn't deserve an immediate shot. Although in hindsight, if ward did fight him and whooped his ass, how good would he be looking right now?

I think it's close either way. Maybe at 168 Froch edges it...Maybe? And, overall with Hopkins on it at 175 Calzaghe edges it.

Really now I wish that fight would have happen. At the time I didn't blame Calzaghe for not fighting Froch. He was talking so much and hadn't really proven himself at that time. But, now damn, I wish it would have happened.
