That was a great fight. Kinda sucks now though as it puts 168 in limbo because no one wants to see a Froch-Ward rematch, would have been cool for an undefeated Bute to fight Ward next.

People love to talk about how "old school" other boxers are, and Froch is the only one in the sport right now that is truly old school.

Most of the British fans dislike Froch because back before he'd done anything he acted like he was an ATG.

This is why boxing is so awesome. You don't have to have speed, or technical skills, or any flashiness. Intangibles and will to win will take you very far in this sport.

Given Carl Froch is the anti-athlete it's very impressive how far he's gone.

Irondanhamza has a very legit argument for Froch having the best resume at 168. But i feel that is more telling perhaps of how bad the division is historically.

With that said, Froch career is not over yet and some of his wins can prove to be much greater than they currently are.

I'd say he's borderline hof. Just like Cotto and similar guys.

I know many think Bute is overrated and just got exposed but boy oh boy did Froch look spectacular.

He really did look pretty quick tonight & that was punch perfect.
