Spot on.The funny thing is Im on this site since 2005 and in 2007 people were not even talking about Martinez, Pacquiao,Khan or Alvarez. In 2007 there were threads like :
What if Floyd beat Hatton, Mosley, Cotto and DLH ? And people were saying there's no way he would do that.
So to answer your question : what would his legacy be???
His legacy would be nothing, people will just line up 4 differents guys that will be popular 2016 and people will say what if Floyd beat these guys
Taking names since 08 I see.

How many times do people have to bring up the fact that he called out Mosley YEARS ago and Mosley had no interest in fighting him. Then when Mosley was desperate for a payday and Floyd beat him, the haters say Floyd waited too long. No my friend it was Mosley who waited too long.whats even funnier is he waited sooo long to fight Mosley. Made Hatton move up to a weight Hatton himself knew he was nooo good at...being his only 147 fight he looked real bad in and most everyone knew he lost the fight with Luis Collazo....and he got a old version of DLH late in the game...same goes for Cotto.
He didn't make Hatton "move up" considering that Hatton weighs 180 pounds between fights. So how is that moving up? That fight was more of a catch weight where Floyd was coming down from 154 to 147, so it was a weight both guys would be comfortable at.
And shut up with DLH being old. DLH was 34 which is younger than Floyd is now and he was much bigger than Floyd on fight night. I love how you bring up size when talking about the Hatton fight but fail to mention the size advantage DLH had.
And lastly, how can you say he waited for Cotto to get old when Cotto is nearly four years younger than Floyd? This post fails immensely!Comment

Cotto and DLH he gave them all of the advantages as well. The weight they wanted, the gloves they wanted. Cotto he fought the fight Cotto wanted, giving him every opportunity to win and he still came out on top.
What do both of those guys have in common with Poochiao? weight games.Comment

lol what is saul to Floyd. people need to stop mentioning alvarez. he is nothingDecember 2012: Sergio Martinez at 154 lbs
May/June 2013: Amir Khan (given Khan beats Garcia and Ortiz/Alexander)
November 2013: Manny Pacquiao (given Pacquiao beats Bradley, Marquez, and a Rios/Jones)
May 2014: Saul Alvarez at 154 lbs (given Alvarez beats Williams, Cotto, Kirkland/Molina)
HIGHLY DOUBT THIS HAPPENS. But, if he finsihed it out like this and actually won all these fights, what would his legacy be???Comment

Yeah, same here. I been here since 07 with a different account and this is true. The fact to the matter is, Floyd will never get his just due. The guy is a master at his craft but because of his ignorant behavior in front of cameras, people will never talk good about him. These days people are so hypocritical and it ain't even funny. The funny thing is Im on this site since 2005 and in 2007 people were not even talking about Martinez, Pacquiao,Khan or Alvarez. I am surprised no 1 checked this dude before Dudley. Considering the Mosley, Hatton & Oscar Floyd fought may not have been peak, or close to it but Floyd beat a better version of all. Even Cotto is up for debate considering the fact that Pacman refuses to fight him to this very day without a weight stipulation that benefits him.Comment
