Dude's talented as hell (possibly the most talented at 168) but he has a lot of question marks hanging over him.

Does he have the right mentality to stick with it when the pressure stars to come? I'm genuinely don't know. He was schooling Froch for most of the fight (I had him winning) but the way he ran towards the end rounds was a joke. It's not something you do when your dominating a fight.

Does he have that champions heart?

I'd love to see him rematch AA and Froch again but I doubt either will happen (AA rematch is more likely).

He needs a solid run of fights, get active, get his name out there again and also prove himself all over again. Those two years have really pushed his career backwards.

Thats funny i could have sworn froch beat him via a SD and had him dropping to his knees every 3 minutes play acting!!

And he was unravelling badly vs abraham (THE NO KNOCKDOWN WAS NONSENSE, DIRELL GOT PLANTED!!) He then got put down again and rolled over and played dead, no heart, lots of talent, no balls! Direll does not have the mindset of a champion...

He has openly stated he does not want a rematch with froch! That speaks volumes...

And he was not schooling froch! None of the judges were english and neither was the ref...and you don't win a title doing this every 5 minutes:

Ppl should watch that fight again because apart from the last 2 rounds direll could not handle froch!

I think hes the most talented fighter at 168. He just lacks something mentally.

He looked capable of completely schooling Froch but he seemed to lack the confidence to do it. He held way too much and kept falling over. He made the fight closer than it should have been.

Then he started collapsing mentally again at the end of the Abraham fight.

Because he weaseled out of the super-6 with blatant lies.
Because he ran against Froch and technically didn't get the "W".
Because Abraham has proven since that he's horrible at 168.
Because he won't fight the #1 fighter in his class due to being "friends".

Dirrell does have some talent for sure. But if you can't see why he's disliked you must not be Sherlock Holmes reborn.
And as far as getting "credit" he'll get credit when he actually amount to something. Talking about how he got robbed 3 years ago (and it's questionable to even label it robbery. I had him winning sure but it was close) is getting a bit stale.

Dirrell got hit with a solid shot while he was down by one of the hardest punchers of the sport, who are you to say that he "played dead"

I was shocked when Dirrell left the tournament - i mean he still had a chance to win the damn thing. He is one talented fighter, but he needs to work on his mental strength in order to compete with the best again.....

Abraham at 168lbs is garbage and nor is he a massive puncher at the weight!

                  Of course he played dead...

                  Direll lost.

What goes round comes around, enjoy your inactivity and wasted prime Mr.Dirrell.
How did he have to act or cheat his way to victory? Did you watch his fight with AA? He not only landed the clean punches, got the knockdown, but he won every single round. He like completely outclassed Abraham and tbh he kind of did the same thing to Froch. I gave Froch 2 or maybe 3 rounds in that fight. Dirrell is a hell of a boxer.

Americans are so melodramatic, no way was direll robbed! He should have been deducted at least 3 points...

And saying froch won 2 rounds is just idiotic!!! I had it 6-6 with froch edging it due to the point deduction.

It was so messy and Dirrell was purposely falling to the floor without Carl even touching him which was pathetic. Froch did a bit of rabbit punching aswell.

True and genuine boxing fans know what a robbery defines in boxing. It is a symbolic and sacred illustration of a fighter who seem to have won convincingly but loses a decision. That itself is a robbery. Dirrell and Froch was no robbery.

So stop crying like lil girls that lost their barbie doll and admit direll is mentally fragile!
