According to Khan fanboys its a great fight. Garcia is so painfully average its unreal.
He don't don't bring his jab back. When he throws the left hook he either drops his right or it ends up like he is doing a bicep pose
Like you said slow, no head movement, nothing really apart from 'good' power.
Morales was actually well in that fight & was having a lot of success considering his age & the weight issues etc
I don't think he see's the 2nd half of the fight & won't at all be surprised if hes blown out in 1-2 rounds.
It hurts me to say it but Khan stomps this kid with ease.
His only options were Morales, Garcia, and Alexander. Garcia and Alexander are both trash but I'm happy Khan picked one of them instead of Morales. Khan will make easy work out of Garcia. Then hopefully Khan can set up a huge fight with Ortiz sometime in the fall.
Considering the short notice the fight had to made I suppose it's an "ok" fight. It's nothing more, nothing less.
If GBP can get the IBF & WBA titles on the line as well then Khan will be holding all 3 belts once he stomps out Garcia. Got Khan somewhere between the mid to late rounds.
You have to commend GBP on how they're building Khan, at least to the general public. He's been made to be a superstar and a lot media outlets are playing on Garcia being the champ, being young and undefeated in 23 with 14 KO's when in all reality he's an average fighter from what I've seen.
Khan will comfortably dominate this fight and move on to bigger things. I'd love to see a fight between him and Ortiz at some stage.
