Completely disagree. Garcia was telegraphing badly and instead of setting up counters, Kahn just kept his guard up and absorbed them (which can really wear you down). It was certainly avoidable for a guy like Khan. But he just kept going back to the guard, standing right in front of Garcia. Don't be fooled, Garcia isn't as good as Khan made him look.

Being able to stay cool under fire is a very overlooked aspect of fighting, and Garcia won that battle before the fight even started~. All the talent or skill in the world means nothing, if a person doesn't or can't utilize it properly.
Garcia did what he was suppose to do in that situation though and took advantage.Comment

Good fundamentals are the flat base of boxing. if you don't have good fundamentals no matter how fast it is it's still a sped up mistake until someone can make you pay for it.

You can stick behind you argument that's cool your entitled to that. I find it funny though you have Floyd as your AVI because this Floyds mantra. Garcia looks average because he does everything well nothing perfect. but when something changes he can change unlike khan who is a rinse repeat kinda fighter thanks to Freddy roach.
Khan hates it to the body where did Garcia go? to the body. how did khan adjust slow his attacking style tio compensate for great body punches which in tern allowed Garcia to slow the match which intern made it easy for Garcia to time khan's 1,2,1,2 flurry.
Dude if you take salsa it's all footwork baby Garcia cross body lead khan straight line offense into a left hook. That was no lucky punch. watch the fight again, and then watch floyd vs judah. I by no means am comparing garcia and floyd but in those fights they both look average. if you didn't know floyd you would have picked zab to win based off those early rounds then what happened? Floyd started effective body punches o slow and stall zab then floyd started to mix it up upstairs.
keep your opinion that's cool, but i would say look at the whole equation. boxing is all about adjustments khan made the wrong ones and Garcia capitalized in spades.Comment

Boxing is a world of basics bro. Garcia had better basics than khan. Was the punch being telegraphed or was khan being timed? He got caught a few times before khan got koed. watch it again. garcia starts throwing it and landing it in round 2, accurate! When did khan get rocked round 3 after he worked out all the kinks after establishing work to the body trying to clip khan's wings to slow him down. watch the fight again and tell me i'm wrong. how did khan react to those body punches? not well. so it slowed him, not that he is slower speed isn't as much as an advantage and when you have a guy slowed down with bad fundamentals huge openings. look at what roy jones looked like when he lost his reflexes... terrible. it's almost like he had to learn how to box all over again.Comment

According to Khan fanboys its a great fight. Garcia is so painfully average its unreal.
He don't don't bring his jab back. When he throws the left hook he either drops his right or it ends up like he is doing a bicep pose
Like you said slow, no head movement, nothing really apart from 'good' power.
Morales was actually well in that fight & was having a lot of success considering his age & the weight issues etc
I don't think he see's the 2nd half of the fight & won't at all be surprised if hes blown out in 1-2 rounds.
It hurts me to say it but Khan stomps this kid with ease.
