JLC destroys Cotto. Late round stoppage after Cotto takes a beating round after round. Only thing that saves Cotto from brain damage is his weak chin giving out early.

Cotto wins by first round, first punch technical draw on cuts.

If it's a punch, it's a TKO for Cotto. That may be his best chance !

Truthfully, it's a pick'em because of Castillo being untested at 140.
I think he's a better fighter than Cotto will ever be, but the size issue comes into play.

Put a gun to my head, however, & I'll go with the ultimate warrior- Castillo.

im taking jlcs face to hold up and the points...

miguelito doesn't have the foot arches to open up jlcs face with one punch while forcing the ref to overrule the correct call by ruling the bout a technical draw tko...

See that's the thing, you give Cotto JLCs chin and he's a monster (yeah yeah I that doesn't fly). I believe Cotto has more talent than JLC, but he may not make the most out of what he's given like Castillo so admirably has.

If you asked me 6 months ago I woulda told you Cotto in a heartbeat...now, I'm reduced to saying that Castillo would have the edge in the fight (it pains me to say that even though I like JLC).

I dont know why so many people are writing Cotto off so soon. He had good tough fights at 140,Castillo hasnt. If you ask me Castillo has some big balls to go up and fight Cotto right after Corrales. Cotto has all the tools needed to beat Castillo but he will have to be able to take his punch or be magnificient on D to win. Castillo is my favorite fighter right now, maybe even all time, but in no way do I see him having an easy time with Cotto's speed and power.Remember Cotto has a hard time making 140.Cotto would be foolish to try a body attack on Castillo, it would be the easiest way for him to get caught with a bomb.Castillo's counter punching and body attack will be the key for him to win and Cotto would have to throw power/speed combanations and move the whole fight to get a decision win.
