I was so sad when he lost to Danny Williams, at that time i thought he could still become champion and beat the Kltschkos lol.

my dad was a boxer back in the day..and after retiring became a matchmaker/trainer..he took me to a fight night event, he had a fighter on the card..the Celebrity guest that night was RJJ..this has to be back in 1996/1997..I didnt know who he was when I met him..but afterwards I watched my dads tapes..and became a huge fan ever since..growing up he and Pea were my favorite.

Probably Fernando Vargas. I remember being 11 years old when I saw Vargas-Trinidad. Till this day, it's one of the greatest fights I can remember. The heart and determination Vargas showed in that fight made me fall in love with the sport.

However the more I learned about him, the more I started to like him. Ever since the Marquez fight I have been a huge fan of the guy. Right now he is basically the heartbeat of the sport of boxing, whether his ignorant critics want to admit it or not. There's a lot of people out there who throw rocks at his throne but the reality is that without him being involved, boxing would be very dull and boring, and they would have lost interest in this sport a long time ago.

Frank Bruno.
After watching him blast away domestic/Euro level bums, I was shocked at how he got beaten by Bonecrusher Smith.
I watched the fight (not live) on my grandmother's TV which was black and white and had to be tuned in manually for each station. Couldn't hear the commentary because of the static and poor reception. I assumed that the black guy who won was Big Frank. Terrible shock when I realised he had been KO'd.
