Devon iz good solid competition at 140-147lb who iz a Southpaw! I knoe he fights at his new & improved weight 147 but i'm sure he would come down for the right type of money. Marquez wanted the fight with Peterson before the Khan fight got finalized, so i dnt see why he couldn't fight Alexander who doesn't have victim either. Marquaz steady fighting unkown bums since idk wen aint gettin it anymore for a Pac fight just to lose on the scorecards everytime lol!

Alexander is a very good fighter. I think Marquez is looking for a good southpaw, but not someone as good as Alexander who could beat him and kill the Pacquiao fight. He wants someone better than a bum but Alexander is one of the best welterweights in the world and he is to dangerous for a tune up fight for Pacquiao. I am pretty sure Alexander is not going to fight at 140 ever again after his great performance with Maidana at 147. Alexander is better than Peterson but the fact that Marquez was willing to fight Peterson shows he is not trying to hand pick bums. Alexander is just to good. -
Because that's absolutely insane. That's an extremely losable fight against a significantly bigger, and skilled man. He'll be lucky to make 2 million in that fight when he's got a 4th fight with Pacquiao that could net him 10 just around the corner.Comment
