Why doesn't Juan Manuel Marquez fight Devon Alexander if wants a Southpaw?

    Because Marquez just isn't as hungry as he used to be. After the 2nd pacquiao fight he had a chip on his shoulder and wanted to earn another shot at being seen as the best fighter in the world.

    Right now he feels entitled to the 4th fight.

      I like both of these guys but i think JMM will have to much for Devon at this stage!!! I think it will be a good fight but Juan will win though!!!

        Obviously its all about money. Marquez cant afford to lose just like when Bradley blatantly avoided Khan.

          Strangely enough, Pacquiao has shown to be a better fighter than Devon, and Marquez has given Pacquiao all he can handle, but I see Devon actually beating Marquez. I don't think Devon would fall for the same tactics Pacquiao would fall for.
