Also why are you putting words in mouth?? When did I say they dont belong in the ring with him??? I picked 160 as just a conversation point considering Roy didnt fight at 147 like Srr did.

I said it wouldnt be fair. And it wouldnt be...he was an athletic freak of nature. The likes that boxing has never seen period. And come the fucc on Roy could beat SRR. He wasnt untouchable or unbeatable at 160 pounds.

What is with people and this SRR shyt. Kind of like Pacfans in 2008. Good lord. He was NOT. I repeat he was NOT unbeatable, faded or not.

so why is roy unbeatable, then?

robinsonw as the fighter of hte decade in the 50's due to his work at 160 lbs

    what did roy do there?
he beat a very green bernard hopkins who did all of his learning as a professional.

roy fought two title fights at 160
robinson is considered by many to be the greatest middlweight ever
i dont agree with them, but it's very close between robinson and monzon and hagler

that's where i'm basing my prediction. on that body of work

what body of work at 160 lbs at the championship level does roy jones even have?
    hopkins for a vacant belt
    and "thomas tate"

on that alone i'm saying it's very silly to pick roy to beat robinson (again, one of the greatest middleweights ever, and a five time champion at the weight,)

and even sillier to say "it wouldn't be fair"

saying you think he could beat even a faded ray robinson at that stage in his career based on his body of work is laughable

the best roy jones fought at 175 and 168

there was no 168 at the time, but at 175 archie more would knock him out.
        he'd knock roy jones out

i think jones beats gene fullmer

you said the MW's of the 50's don't even belong in the ring with jones at 160 lbs and that shows how little you know about

        a: boxing in the 50's

        and b: middleweight roy jones
Do you really believe that **** you just said? I mean really you make it seem as if ray Robinson just beats everyone. Damn...-_-what about the Robinson that fought at LHW would he have beaten jones to?
How faded of a Robinson are we talking?

Anyway Im done with the SRR hi-jack talk.

Dont know if these guys have been mentioned but Mike Tyson, Prime Mosley, 130 lb Mayweather, Tommy Hearns had some fast ass hands too.

at his middlewieght best in the 50's. still a total monster
              one punch knockout power
              speed
              skills
              combinations
              and a great chin

his real prime was at WW, obviously, but he was still certainly a handful at 160

again, dont take it from me if you dont want to beleive that i know boxing, robinson is a consensus top 3 middleweight for the modern era among historians

if you want to go back far enough you have harry greb, but there is zero footage of him in fights, so i'm really not going to touch any predictions for fantasy fights involving him

greb's resume is as good as robinsons and sh#t's all over roy jones

i think jones beats greb, though
bad styles. roy is very big and very very fast. too fast for greb i'd guess, whose speed was his forte.

Okay I see what youre talking about. Lets take 160 out of it. I only picked that weight because it was a good middle ground of saying where Roy was at physically or athletically.
