Not to change he subject, but wow what a gentleman Khan is in your sig, he couldn't even open the door for his fiance to get in first. Anyways, I always believed Berto, if he we're going to intentionally cheat he would have used something else and certainly not this.

do I believe Berto to be unknowing about this? yes it's too small of an amount to say he was using this to enhance his performance

but it's still there and he should not be allowed to fight June 23rd because of it

CSAC probably will have a hearing about it, choose not to ban Berto because of the miniscule amount, but not allow Berto to be licensed until the substance is out of his system
that means he wouldnt be allowed to fight for 6-18 months for something comepletely unintentional. if this info is to be believed then according to the doc the amount in his system isnt enough to change anything. 2 drops of contaminated water in an olympic style swimming pool is enough to be detected. that is the ratio youre looking at when they mention 'trace amounts.'

im not sure about peterson but i think the evidence shows berto's positive was unintentional. in the link earlier in the thread the doc mentioned that some energy drinks can give a positive trace amount result, think about how many other consumables may contain trace amounts.

        fight should go ahead.

Looks like golden boy had their say. Is there any way to know if the amount found are traces from a previous cycle? Either way, they should make the fight happen. I don't know how ortiz likes all this, but then again he is losing out on a payday. I kind of feel bad for ortiz in all this.

yeah right! CONTAMINATION or SPIN? If the substance is too low and strong probability that it is a contamination, why it flag it as POSITIVE?

This is the reason why Schaefer are so mad VADA on Cheaterson vs Khan, coz its too late for them to SPIN the result on Cheaterson!

If it's that little, why even flag the test?

I mean if we're talking about "trillions"?

This ABSOLUTELY verifies what I've been posting since the huge bit of nothing erupted. I've pointed out that "traces" TRACES, mean very "tiny", TINY amounts most likely from contaminated supplements. I wrote that I was certain that the Berto folks would have those supplements tested fo find the contamination, and that he should be "absolved" ABSOLVED of all intent to cheat.

Logic is the best method of dealing with conspiracy crazies.

i had the same thoughts. after reading this article http://www.fighthype.com/news/article12456.html i believe they cannot deduce the ratio in the body from the initial test, and further testing had to be done. this is what i infer anyway because if they didnt need additional tests, and if this is true and if this is the case, they seriously need to look at their protocols and procedures. if berto is innocent they just shat on his image/reputation and have potentially cost berto/ortiz, goldenboy and other investors millions reporting something inconsequential.
