thing is, Floyd is up there and that's a fact. people hate him because they know it. in his prime, no one i've ever seen fight beats floyd cept for maybe ray robbinson in a great night and i'm not sure floyd doesn't tax him too due to better defense and the combos bar the size differential... anyway haters gonna hate and will resort to everything to downplay him. history shows it.

Clottey trumphs Ortiz because Clottey has fought better fighters at WW than Ortiz...Clottey best wins at WW actually trumphs Ortiz win against Berto or any of his fights at LWW..

Cotto was in the p4p list, and ranked#2 at WW when Pac fought him. He had wins over Mosley and Judah..His status at LMW is still not yet established at this point...
No way does Clottey beat Ortiz... I don't even care for Ortiz but he beats Clottey.

Clottey beat Judah in 2008 to make a name.... thats it. He didn't do anything to warrant a Pac fight in 2010. The guy hadn't won a fight in 2 years yet lets bash Ortiz?

Btw, what was Ortiz ranked when Floyd fought him?

Cotto is established at JMW because like now, nobody in the JMW devision will beat him outside of Floyd. In fact I think he is ranked #2 by the ring and ESPN.

Ortiz had just one fight at WW and he is already a world beater. Clottey didnt have a win in 2 years because he only fought Cotto and Pac.. And its not 2 years, it was more like 14 months..

You maybe true about Clottey but at least he fought Judah, Marg and Cotto. And had performed very well on the fights he didnt win. He really took it to them.. Ortiz hasnt fought anyone..

As far as Cotto, that remains to be seen. Because he hasn't really fought anyone at LMW.

Remember Ortiz is only 24-25? He's still green but has already been in the ring with Mayweather and to his credit Berto who could have possibly been on PEDS.

Cotto will do well at JMW and Ortiz could as well at WW or even JMW. Hell I wouldn't mind seeing Ortiz vs Berto. Or Ortiz vs Kirkland or any of those names mixed up because they are all on or around the same level of each other.

Clottey was a never has been. He beat Judah when Judah was done. I like Judah but he's not a fighter you can invest in for sure.

            But i'm out.

Thats my point Ortiz is way over his head when he fought Floyd.. He was not ready to fight at that level, and it showed...At least Clottey had fought the best in that division, and actually performed very well...And I will take a win over Judah compared to a win against Berto anytime...

You keep on saying that they will do well when there is really no indication that they could...What makes you so sure that Cotto would even fight Kirkland, Angulo at this point of his career.. Believe me when I say he would fight Pac and May first before even thinking about guys like Kirkland...

                  Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

                  Not widout steroids he ent.
He's only got an 0 next to his record 'cos he's ducked all the best fighters until they are past their best, and his opponents have to fight 2 men in the ring with Joe Cortez as well, and then the the other 3 men outside the ring like Castillo had to.

Better than Ali??? WHo fought the BEST in their PRIME time and time again and actually landed knockouts against them without cheating. There is SO MANY above Floyd Mayweather you know. He only just makes the Top 50 on ESPN website, I don't even think he should be that high 'cos of all the bull**** surrounding him.
