You can give credit to Cotto because Cotto lost to him. Pac just wanted a belt at bother weight class vs a guy who should have been banned.

Btw, Margarito was not ranked at WW let alone JMW when Pac fought him. Clottey was what #5? Meaningless fights. In fact, Pac fighting Clottey, Margarito and Mosley where meaningless....

Man.. Cotto did avenge his lose but that doesn't discount the fact that he fought a beaten up fighter.. Neither that it was regarded his best win.. His best win was against Mosley, Judah, and some of his fights at LWW like Malignaggi, Torres...

Marg was not ranked because he took one year sabatical.. But he was certainly a better fighter than Ortiz and Berto, or any of those ABC champs at that time..

If you want to make the Clottey, Marg, Mosley fights meaningless. You have to do the same for Floyd's win against JMM, Ortiz, and Cotto...Just to be fair about it...That is if you really want to be fair about it...

He looks great because Cotto stylistically match up with Floyd to put up a good fight. He is still a sVcker for an uppercut and he tends to clam up when he gets hit. Nothing has changed much...

Clottey trumphs Ortiz because Clottey has fought better fighters at WW than Ortiz...Clottey best wins at WW actually trumphs Ortiz win against Berto or any of his fights at LWW..

Cotto was in the p4p list, and ranked#2 at WW when Pac fought him. He had wins over Mosley and Judah..His status at LMW is still not yet established at this point...
