even pound4pound I'd say Wladimir is really high up there.

Pac is not on this list, when was the last time Maidana actually Ko'd someone??
Donaire, Bailey.
Seth Mitchell looks like he hits hard but Haye and Wlad hit harder.
Gamboa hits hard.
Berto hits real hard, but his foot work is so bad it rarely ever translates, except for that shot he hit ortiz with.
Mosley when he was juicing.Comment

lots
thompson
chambers
and brock
all out cold with one punch. out cold.
austin essentially
i could go on
wladimir is a legitimate one punch ****er.
by far the hardest in the sport if you're taking size into consideration.
and if guys didnt completely stop trying to win fights after a few rounds of jabs in the face he'd have a lot more clean knockouts.
when that right hand lands down the center the fight is all but over.
he's also got a very hard left hook (stretched chambers with a "leaping" left hook,) which he usually only throws a handful of times each fight.
in his prime his brother was a very hard puncher himself. he had a great right hand down the center. when it landed flush the fight ended if his opponent didnt have a terrific chin he was either hurt or going down. almost as good as his brother. hand and shoulder problems let him to start to take some of the steam off of his shots and develop the style we see him using today.
the hardest p4p punchers in the sport today?
bailey
gonzales
pacquiao (people forget that the guy was a flyweight world champion. at 140 he's got one of the best knockouts ever over a hall of famer. he's gotten respect from every opponent he's fought at WW outside of marquez, and size had nothing to do with that, marquez is just a great counter puncher who had 24 rounds to study manny before the third fight.)
donaire (hardest puncher i've ever seen when he was at 118. that was freakish.)
bute
maidana if he's not slipping
golovkin looks like he might have an answer in that right hand of his

Chambers was his size? Come on now, he was almost 40lbs smaller than Wlad when they fought. If we only counted opponents who were his size or bigger, Wlad's KO ratio would drop significantly.lots

Translation:Vitali is not a hard puncher.
If he was a really hard puncher he would have 'ko' the weakest, most frail, most shot, most under prepared, most old, most fat, version of Lewis.
Lewis was blocking Vitali's punches that night with his face and he was just smiling through it. Easy Work
Vitali just knock out bums with a cumulative group of semi hard punches
resulting eventually in the bum falling over due to sheer exhaustion
Unrated/ranked Vitali klitschko on 2 weeks notice was outboxing the LINEAR champ to the extent were a proposed rematch scared him into retirement and scrapped all hopes of a potential roy jones v lewis clash (a fight lewis was chasing in 2002/3)...
Vitali is a hard puncher.
