Don't forget the ESPN brawl Lewis had with Rahman lol Lewis didn't start any of his outside the ring altercations, but still.

But I think the point Lewis was making was a little different.

Chisora initiated all the altercations. He's saying the only thing Haye did wrong was hit Chisora in the throat with a bottle; which if rightfully served it's purpose, would've cut Chisora's throat.

Mavrovic? That guy was a straight up beast who would have destroyed Haye. Disease is the only thing that retired him from the ring. If it hadn't been for that he would have been the first eastern bloc heavyweight star. The guy could fight and he was tough as scrap iron.

The point is Lewis had no problem fighting someone who was having licensing issues when it involved making millions for himself.

But now we have a similar situation between 2 fighters that doesn't involve him, he now wants to take the moral high ground.

No matter what way you look at it, if you go by Lewis' logic, his fight with Tyson should have never happened.

Vitali did better against him. That's why the fight is still remembered today, while no one remembers the Mavrovic fight. That's why Jim Lampley called the fight a "lucky escape for Lennox Lewis".

He was undefeated, what more do you want? Isn't that the mantra of Klit fans who say their comp isn't as bad as people perceive? The bottom line though is Mavrovic showed more skills, heart and determination against Lewis than Haye has at any fight at heavyweight.
