Is it OK To Give Fighters Credit On Their Resume When robbed?

    Thoughts on this?

I was always kind of on the fence about it but I can't help but give credit to Lewis in the first Holyfield fight, and to Marquez in the 3rd Pacquiao fight.

Fighters that obviously lose 8 rounds have people on here saying they were robbed.

True. But I think those are pretty clear cut as far as fighters being jobbed is concerned.

Only the biggest Pac stans felt Marquez lost.

            that's a rather naive assumption

If you haven't rewatched a fight in 1/8 slo mo, then you don't know nothing.

I give Whitaker, Lara, De la hoya, Marquez, Campillo etc credit for their unofficial wins

                    It's all relative.

A fight like Marquez vs. Pac 3 which was very close and could conceivably go both ways with a sloppy enough judge is different from a highway robbery like Lewis vs. Holyfield, Whitaker vs. Chavez etc etc.

In the first example i just keep it in mind and think it raised Marquez overall status. In the latter i just count them as wins.

What actually happened is always more important than what boxrec tells you.
