He is a member of the Philippines legislature, hosts a weekly TV game show and has his own vegetable business.

For whatever reason, this alongside the rest of that paragraph made me chuckle.

But anyways, I don't see the problem with his comments. If athletes, actors, tv personalities, etc can come out in support of gay marriage, or chime in on any controversial matter really, I don't have a problem with him also putting in his two cents against it.

Lost a bit of respect for him here. Always do when someone has issues with what any grown ass person does in their own time that doesnt affect them in anyway what so ever, and especially when they try to use any religous text to justify their prejudice. Bonkers.
