If he ventures into that BHOP territory with his career length he might have to change his name to
Floyd "the Billionaire dollar Man" Mayweather Jr.
Craziest part is i kinda see it happening.Comment

As much as im sure you believe this. The rest of the world outside of his fans dont.
Matter of fact outside of his fans no one gives him a shot of even making it a competitive fight.Comment

Yes he will because he is the PPV kingOscar currently holds the all time ppv record with $610.6 million on 12.6 million buys in 18 PPV events.
Mike Tyson is #2 with $545 million on 12.4 million buys in 12 PPV events.
Evander Holyfield is #3 with $543 million on 12.6 million buys in 14 PPV events.
Mayweather currently has generated $543 million on 9.6 million buys in only 9 PPV events. He is clearly on his way to surpassing all of the 2 major HW PPV Kings as well as the ALL TIME PPV KING Oscar. Floyds next fight will push him beyond the $610 million that Oscar made and Floyd will do it in his 10th PPV event. In his fight after that (his 11th PPV fight) he will surpass the 12.6 million buys, the record held by Holyfield & De La Hoya.
#s dont lie and when Mayweather retires he will be the biggest PPV superstar in the history of boxing & will have done it in less PPV fights than De La Hoya, Tyson & Holyfield!
Thats amazing considering he is a feather fisted runner thats boring

Pay Per View ratings most of the time is a 50/50 proposition & is as much on the strength of your opponents name than your own. So it's NOT fully because of what you brought to the table....it's a combination of how popular your opponent is... how popular you are & how much demand & excitement the matchup garners. Pay pervIEW SALES are almost always due to a 50/50 proposition or is strictly on the strength of just one fighter & less on the other who is the opponent to the star attraction.Comment

With Tyson...... he was the attraction in the payperview affair. It was his persona .. his aura that ticket sales was being generated from & if the opponent was a fellow great capable of beating him like Holyfield or Lewis.....sales went through the roof.
Holyfield had so many battles with alltime great heavies & therefore was involved in some of the highest grossing ones but this was more in the 50/50 proposition of popularity & that's where he & Tyson differed.Comment
