To everyone saying that floyd is a bigger draw than oscar, statistically you may be correct but you also have to look at the times of both fighters. In Oscar's prime years people didnt pay as much attention to the ww's like they do now. Why? Because the heavyweights had the spotlight. Now though the hw division is dead (to America I mean) so the focus has shifted. Granted Floyd Mayweather is talented, controversial and also holds an undefeated record so that alone helps ppv numbers but imagine Oscar De La Hoya having the spotlight to himself back in his prime years....

Low in my opinion. Anything below 2.0 mill is low for the amount of promotion and strength of the under card it had.

PAC is still the cash cow and face of boxing!

And btw Baloot boy... I ca t wait to see on here after the Pacquioa vs Bradley figjt does 1 million buys or less.... I bet HBO doesnt even release the numbers because Bob Arum.... 94,000,000 x .35 = 32,900,000 no way he was getting 35% of the ppvs.

94 million is TOTAL revenue. The satellite/cable operators take at least 50% off the top. I don't know the rest of the breakdown. But the PPV split between the fighters is not based on the 94 million. They split the profit.

I hope Canelo's getting a big cut from PPV buys, at least .5 million buys were generated by Canelo's star power. I hate to say it but from a business standpoint, the promoters did a good job! American star, PR star and Mexican star...I was expecting between 1.8 to 2 M PPV. didn't beat by numbers but good revenue overall. floyd's will take home about 55 m after all revenues are in..for sure!

Pac doesn't add superstars in his undercards. He's the main carrier of the PPV.
