The performance of Mayweather-Cotto ranks as the second highest grossing non-heavyweight pay-per-view event in boxing history. No. 1 all-time is Mayweather’s record-setting showdown with Oscar de la Hoya ($137 million) in 2007.
    Boxing is clearly dead.

Mayweater in the number 1 and 2 non heavy bouts is pretty impressive.

Wonder how many Canelo v Mosely helped with? Good figures for a good PPV card.

One again Schafer was talking crap about getting 2 million+ buys. Good to see HBO is backing up this number though. When will they release the Ortiz numbers is the question.

Mayweather has the number 1 because of De La Hoya don't get it confused.

Having the number 2 is a result of Mayweather, Cotto, Canelo , and Mosely. Anything less would have been a huge disappointment in my opinion.

            Impressive either way.

Good number thought it would have done more though honestly.

As it should be! Don't you think it would be a little embarrassing if the Filipino had bigger numbers in the US than the American?

You just can't give that man credit huh?

De la Hoya never did anything close to the number before PBF so how do you figure its all De la Hoya? Mosley has never done number and Canelo has yet to headline a damn thing so again how do you come up with stuff?
