You are right, but Canelo is nothing like Vargas, by his fourteen fight he was facing Campas following Raul Marquez, Winky, Quartey, Thompson, Trinidad, Castillejo, etc... There's no one on Canelo's resume that resembles that kind of level of competition...

idk canelo does hit hard but cotto isn't really known for getting KTFO even when Pac beat him he was still standing.....i do think canelo can hurt him though especially if cotto tries to bully him on the ropes

100% agree. Beating a totally shot Mosley proves nothing to me. The guys who got to Cotto high volume punchers. Canelo is not that and Cotto can keep with his pace. Cotto outboxes him and hurts him late to get a UD.

Canelo looked good last fight but its hard to gauge because shane is so shot. His punches looked real crisp and sharp but shane was really slow and was throwing arm punches so he didnt have anything to really deter canelo from keep coming forward once he upped his activity level. Id have to see him with someone who can actually land something meaningful back.

For floyd he fights at too slow a pace which plays right into floyds hands, and floyd has too many tricks, like his jab to the midsection, to stop him in his tracks and keep him at the distance that he wants him and control the fight completely.
