Cotto cannot take the king of punishment that Canelo can dish out. However Canelo almost got waxed by Cotto's tiny brother. So if Cotto gets some flush leather on his ginger a$$, he might just get the job done. 50/50 fight.

Passing of the torch fight I suppose, but I don't think Canelo walks through Cotto at all. We're just removed from a fight Mayweather (arguably the best in the world) was supposed to walk easily through Cotto and clearly that didn't happen. 40 Year old Mosley, though looked 40, managed to land a lot more than I expected. Even after a Mayweather fight (in which Cotto took much less damage than both Marg and Pac fights), I don't think Cotto walks in fight night like a grandpa. No doubt Canelo's toughest fight and in a lot of ways a toss up.

If Canelo fights in Sept I doubt he will have enough time to get ready for Cotto before the year ends. Cotto stated that he wanted to fight 1 more time before the year ends..We will see.

Canelo is too strong and young for Cotto at this time. Canelo will start retiring all the old fighters first Mosely, then Cotto, Pacquiao after and Mayweather in a couple of years. The toughest test will be Pacquiao no doubt!!!
