This is one of those situations where Floyd is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't, and damned if he does anything else.
If he goes down to 147, the fight with Pacquiao won't happen because Floyd want's too much money, Arum want's too much money and Pacquiao is a b1tch who can't think for himself. So Floyd will fight someone else and he will be seen as ducking Pacquiao.
If he stays at 154 he can either fight Martinez or fight.....Canelo? Or someone else. If he fights that someone else, it will be seen as if he is ducking Martinez and Pacquiao by staying at 154. If he does fight Martinez at 154, either one of two things will happen. He will beat a weight drained Martinez OR he will get beat by a weight drained Martinez, either way he loses.
Or if he beats Martinez he'll have beaten a 38 year old Grandpa Martinez.

      45-0
10 time champion in 6 divisions
      4 time lineal champ

damn that would be top 10 atg material
      Ideally, that would be it.

Pacquaio later this year at 147 and Martinez at 160 but Martinez at 160 is just not going to happen. Not even 1% chance that happens.

You obviously didn't watch the fight. He should have won by TKO but the incompetent ref let Cintron continue even though he basically quit the fight. He definitely should have won the decision.

Later, Cintron got smart and learned that if you want to quit a fight, you just need to dive out of the ring.

Both. Whatever is the best option at the moment.

does it matter?!?! some of you just have to let go

with respect to Pacquiao and Martinez fans...nobody currently in those Divisions, will beat Mayweather...sure it is people who will give him a CHALLENGE...but a Challenge against Mayweather is apparently winning 3 Rounds out of 12 hahaha

You know your GREAT when fans are willing to accept "MORAL VICTORIES" against you like winning a few rounds against you, or hurting him like Mosley, or winning the early rounds like Hatton and Zab (but they ignore what eventually happened during those fights)

the problem with fight Mayweather...is that what ever Pace Mayweather wants the fight the be...THAT IS WHAT IT IS GOING TO BE! And it is absolutely nothing his opponents can do about it...Sure everybody goes in thinking "I AM GOING TO OUTWORK MAYWEATHER" only to see that it is extremely hard to maintain that Pace for 12 Rounds and only to find out how hard it is to land CLEAN EFFECTIVE PUNCHES ON HIM...it is nothing worse when you are working extra hard, hearing the crowd roar, thinking your doing well only to look up at your opponent and see him smiling at you and/or shaking his head at you tell you "YOUR NOT LANDING ANYTHING"...some fans need to get into a ring and just spar a little so they can have a better understanding of the sport

A JAB? REALLY? Mayweather will give you that Jab ALL NIGHT...because he knows that a Jab alone is not going to beat him, especially when he is coming back with Power Shots and landing them accurately, the Jab is actually suppose to be a setup punch, you throw the jab out there then your suppose to follow it up with something, with Mayweather, you may land the jab, but the rest of the stuff you follow up with likely won't land clean or flush

If he goes back to 147, there is only one fight that people are clamoring for and are waiting for to happen. But everyone, except his diehard fans, knows that Floyd does not want that fight and it is obvious that he will find every excuse to avoid it from happening.

From the looks of it, it seems that Floyd has put himself in a spot. He may have realized this that's why he is hinting about another retirement.

It is a lose lose situation for Floyd, stay at 154lbs and Martinez comes knocking, go back to 147lbs and Pacquiao is there.

                Tough choice for Floyd.

Have you ever won a debate against me? Would you like to try?

Btw, I did not see any of the 24/7 show for the Floyd/Cotto pre-fight because we don't have cable here so I am a little behind on what transpired. Could you do me a favor, please. Kindly post the segment that showed or even just confirmed that both Floyd and Cotto were given the ost. Would appreciate it very much if you could do that, thanks.

I have given up in debates with you because you display an incredible amount of ******ity and I don't think English is your first language.

BTW Could you post the 24/7 segment that shows Cotto flushing the toilet after he poops? You see I think Cotto forgets to flush the toilet from time to time, and OBVIOUSLY if it isn't on HBO's 24 7 then it doesn't happen.

++Also who the hell is talking about drug testing in Mayweather Cotto? Did you forget what thread you're on?
