So who was he suppose to fight in '05 if not Gatti? Can't say Cotto or Hatton because both camps wanted no part of Mayweather...

Who if not Judah in '06? Baldomir? Apparently he was ducking Baldomir when he fought Judah...

If not DLH, what heavily anticipated fight in '07 was he supposed to take? Brian Kenney insinuating he's ducking Hatton on FNF, so who should he fight if not Hatton, the guy he's afraid of?

If he doesn't fight Mosley coming off the shellacking he dished out to Margs, who should he have fought since guy refused random drug testing? Berto? Cintron?

If not Ortiz since the guy still hadn't agreed to random drug testing... who then?

If not Cotto for this past fight, since the guy needed to build a stadium and let his cut heal and figure out whether he wanted the lesser share or not, then who?

I have a good memory. I rememer the conversation quite well. We were talking about seeing him go down hill a bit around the Hatton/Oscar fight in terms of physical prime.

I also remember after the JMM fight, we had a conversation about him not pulling the trigger a few times, and i saw that again against Cotto. There were a few occassions where a younger Floyd would have unloaded or thrown in certain situations and he just didn't.

The thing is (and i said this yesterday) Roger, and Floyd especially they know he's not as quick with his reflexes and feet as he once was. Floyd recognises it.....and that's important, because i don't think Roy ever did.

I never was into this checklist as i felt Pbf should have fought them pre 2009. But definitely, i gave him credit as for 3 fights in a row, he fought the next best opponents outside of pac when they still mattered... atleast on paper. That is more than i can say for pac's last 2 fights. No complains for the bradley fight. Imo, next best realistic fight after floyd.
