If Floyd Dont Fight Pacquiao Should There Be A Rematch With Cotto??

I Think If Mayweather Does Not Get A Deal With Pacquiao He Should Fight Cotto Again To My View It Was A Very Exiting Hard And Competitive Fight Plus i Think Cotto Deserves A Rematch Do To His Great Great Performance and the controversy with the judges card what do you guys think???

Id like to see a rematch. Not because of 'controvery', because there really wasnt much if any, but because it was a hard, tough, competitive entertaining fight. But then again, we are against those kinds of fights around these parts....

Co- ****in sign. I think these people forget the 70's and 80's when fighters used to fight each other more than once, no one had a problem with it then.

        I don't believe so.

The fight took place at Miguel's weight and Floyd still won 8-9 rounds. Had there been controversy or had Floyd looked really troubled then it would make sense, but it was a clear win. I don't think Floyd will fight above 147 again, he doesn't belong any higher.

There was no controversy, head over to boxings0cialist and watch the fight again....

Cotto won probably x3 rounds, x4 if its christmas or his brithday and we wanna be kind to him....

Hell even harold lederman which imo gave him certain rounds I didnt think he had won, also stated he won no more than 4 rounds.... Im sorry at best he won x4 rounds and thats at best. Thats with pro Cotto shades on....

No rematch, Cotto is lucky that Mayweather doesn't carry a punch. If cotto still think he has something left, why not fight Sergio Martinez that goes for Mayweather too.

No, I don't want to see a rematch. Even though it was a really fun and competitive fight, there's no need to have it again. I don't want to watch Cotto not use his jab enough and fade in the last couple of rounds like he always does.

Not to mention Floyd would look a lot better in a rematch without having to fight with a left hand injury and a cold.

What's the point in a rematch? It will be the same outcome.

No. Cotto won 2-3 rounds, 4 at the very most. Why rematch if the fight wasn't close???

And if he does indeed fight again in December this year, which is a big if, he should fight Andre Berto, if he beats Ortiz.

Oscar said Alvarez isn't happening, Pac probably isn't happening, Sergio isn't happening and seems set to fight in October, Khan needs a fight at WW first, who else???

Berto, if he beats Ortiz, would be a good fight. It'd be another Top ranked WW for Floyd to add on his resume, which isn't bad.
