losing the zero is so huge of a deal with this boxer. there's never been anything like it in the history of the sport. this is what you get when you are hyping up the zero so much. in reality, losing the zero is not that huge to many sensible fans. it happens. what's important to most is taking risks. real risks. if you lose, it happens. plain and simple.

No what PAC did is what you called cherry picking, he was offered Mayweather, Cotto rematch at 154, Marquez rematch at 147, and Bradley. He choose the 140lb fighter, if that's not cherry picking then what is?

I seriously question not only question the age or how long people have been on the sport here, but also what they even really know about the sport. How the f**k was Cotto at 154 not a good fight or "risk" for Floyd, but he was a risk for Manny at 145??? He's the same guy. Past his prime-still good.

My god this place turns into a s**T hole of a boxing site after Floyd gets done fighting.

by the time floyd hit 30, and everytime he gets hurt or get in a harder fight than expected by his standard, he always considers retirement. after dela hoya and hatton, he retired...he came back and after mosley, he took some time off. now after this fight with cotto, he's contemplating retirement again.

your boy fights an average of one fight a year for the last several years. that in itself is taking less risk.

Oh and Cottos body shots wouldn't have had more impact with 8oz gloves too right?
