you would pay almost $70 to watch Alvarez vs Quintana?

Honestly no matter what the reports that are out there say.

I think this is more likely than Canelo-Kirkland.

He would need to fight him in the summer. This would suck and bomb badly on pay-per-view in my opinion. Who knows maybe the Mexico-Puerto Rico rivalry and 24/7 can help really sell it?

If it is PPV, 24/7, Quintana would not fit the bill because even those he is revitalized, he is not entirely back yet, he needs a couple tune-ups. Canelo needs the right opponent and Kirkland/Lara/Trout might work. Lara and Trout provide the most difficulty stylewise. Kirkland walks right into Canelo's punches but a war can be sold. Molina might be but lack of power hurts him. Trout would be a unification and he is unbeaten which sells.

Don't forget Molina's awful record. Casual fans see that and they will skip out on it.

Im happy for Quintana who has always been one of the most talented guys out there with a bad chin. He was beating Berto to me before the ko. Even got robbed of a kd. He will always be in a fight until he gets hurt.

Realistically he could get to kirkland befote he got caught or even outbox a guy like k-9. It all depends on his chin and stamina which will always be below average.

I'd be very surprised if he does tbh.....

Also everyone keeps bringing up the fact thay its ppv. No fighter is worthy of a ppv fight except cotto or martinez. Even kirkland/canelo for 60 is an absolute joke.

The problem with PPV is anyone can hold a PPV card these days but that doesn't mean it is worth the PPV. A good example of this bad situation is next week Brian Viloria heads a PPV card against a former opponent. Hey, I like Viloria, one of my 5 favorite fighters but he is not a lead PPV fighter, and I won't even go into the undercard.

Canelo is worthy of a ppv. As much or more than Cotto. Bigger fan base, sorry.
