Floyd had problems like i said he would due to Cottos style, and his relentless body swarm. Top that with the fact that Cotto had great timing, and was able to at times, feint Floyd, wait for him to roll out, then hit him coming up. So many of you d riders, dont give no credit to Cotto. All this nonsense that Floyd did this type of fight for "us"....yall are truly ******, and get your mans dingus out your mouth.
The truth right here. Seriously, it is amazing what these kids are willing to say and apparently even believe for their man. I can't even imagine thinking the way these guys do. It's just as bad when Pacquiao fans claim Manny had cramps or would've KO'd Marquez, or that he was intentionally looking more flawed to get a fight with Mayweather. My god the ******ity.

Cotto did several impressive things last night. One was bullying Mayweather and making Money fight his fight. The second and IMO most impressive was his defense. He made Mayweather miss all night. The only problem was that he couldn't counter all those Mayweather misses. He was either or all night. He was either on the attack or in a defensive shell. All in all, he put forth a good effort but was clearly beaten. Funny thing is, people talking about all the contact Cotto made. But, the punch stats show he landed 13 more punches than Mosley did against Mayweather and still averaged single digit connects per round. Cotto took Mayweather outta his comfort zone. He forced him to fight. And Money responded by outfighting him. Great night of fighting.

Cotto should have won. I scored it a draw truth be told.

As the chllenger, Mayweather should have done more and shown hunger as all challengers need to. Instead he was fighting cottos fight.

it's really simple... cotto only won 1 round... the 8th....

sure mayweather got hit more than usual, because he insisted on fighting aggressively... i don't like floyd on the front foot, i prefer watching him counter and throw single shots....

but he still won clearly.... there were close rounds... but floyd dominated.... cotto must have been outweighing floyd by at least 15lbs....

I'm surprised he out-jabbed Cotto even though Cotto landed the more effective points scoring jabs.

Not sure what they were watching in Round 6, though.
floyd was hitting cotto to the body throughout the 6th round.... he landed effectively it was an even round.

Anyone that had that fight closer than 8-4 needs to seriously evaluate their ability to digest what is taking place in a boxing ring. I watched in a theater that was about 75-80% pro-Cottto and half the theater cleared out before the decision was announced. Cotto got outfought. And most of the excitement he created came in moments where he wasn't landing a darn thing.
