Btw, I'm not here to make excuses for Floyd, but he was injured for the first Castillo fight too. Don't take my word for it, simply go check out his suspension report on boxrec and then align the dates.

Now where's the guy that said Floyd would rehydrate to 157? I told you he'd stay right around what he weighed in... Floyd clearly had some sort of cold as he was blowing his nose all week during interviews. I also remember thinking that something may have been wrong with Floyd's hand during one of his live broadcast of him training, It was when he stopped doing the mitts with Roger and went to the body bag, he appeared to hit it a bit too hard at an angle an right after you could clearly see him wince in pain, after that happened I didn't see him throw his left hand with any authority for the rest of that broadcast, I wondered what was up with that! Other people may see it as excuses, but everyone knows Floyd's not one to come up with excuses, especially after a victory, I could see if he had lost, but Floyd was in for a tough fight regardless based on Cotto's style, props for Floyd for not pulling out because he could have then the haters would of really came out..

dude are you ****ing seriously dumb or totally blind.......you hate mayweather so much that even when he gets hit a few times and his opponent fights a great fight but still loses 9rds to 3rds, you had cotto winning, GTFOH..cotto won one dominant rd-rd8...floyd won the first 5 rds and the last 4rds, rds 6-7-8 cotto won 2 of 3 and to be nice i'll give him 3......but he still lost117-111 like almost evry judge, analyst, boxing writer had it...and you said cotto winning is just truly a sign of a mayweather hater

I don't see how people can even consider it an excuse? An excuse for what? HE WON! HANDILY! Everyone knows Floyd has always had hand problems, I'm actually rather surprised he went all these years in his mid 30's without having problems with them for the most part..

I thought the judges scorecards were right, and think anyone who's claiming Cotto dominated Floyd and deserved a win or draw need to go see an optician. He won 3 rounds at the most in my eyes.

About the injury, it could be plausible as you saw Floyd switch to southpaw very briefly once or twice, then quickly went back to orthodox after reconsidering... which could indicate him struggling to use his left hand, who knows... but I'm not gonna read into it too much, Floyd won the fight and it was overall a good night of Boxing, was an exciting fight - which people often complain saying Mayweather is boring, well this even well and truly delivered!

^^exactly to this...i cant see anyone giving more than 3 rds to cotto, i mean he fought a great fight but he was just losing rds........and this aint the 145lb weight drained cotto who fought pac, this was a solid 154 lber who probably weighed 160ish fight night...but to say floyd got owned or lost the fight is absolutely ludicrous...ppl never seen floyd get hit or have a busted nose so to them that automatically means floyd lost, SMH at the ****** ppl who actually believes that
