There won't be a day when Floyd loses, you can keep waiting on it though, hating at it's finest...

excuses (cramps) for pac not beating jmm the way floyd did......oh and btw, floyd moved up and fought cotto at 154, his most comfortable weight while manny weight drained cotto down to 145lbs...so you really dont think those 10 lbs made a difference, if not then you dont know shiet about boxing, fighters hate to have to lose 2 lbs let alone 10....cotto at 154 beats pac...and pac is not big enough to push floyd on the ropes like cotto did, a fight between floyd and cotto will be a BOXING match, and we all know who is the better BOXER

          • Man, a lot of you dudes make it hard to enjoy this site. I understand not liking a fighter, but its on another lever here. Its pretty disturbing to see a bunch of "grown men" posting crap like this.

It was a great fight with 2 elite boxers.

Maybe you're right Sven Ottke didn't lose.

But, if you keep fighting past your best against top level eventually you will lose. Maybe I'm giving Floyd too much credit in thinking he will keep fighting top level?

You don't think he will? Wow you're such a hater. Stop hating on Floyd man. Thinking Floyd from now on is going to fight weak comp. That's hating at it's finest.

                • Well then why was he the one who wanted 10 ounce gloves instead of 8 ounce?

That was one of the poorest attempts of reverse psychology I've ever read, fact is Floyd said it himself theres no one really left out there for him to fight just a bunch of young pups coming up now, that leaves him nothing left to prove for the most part who's he gonna fight now Canelo? Martinez is too big for Floyd or Pacquiao... spare me... Maybe he could fight Bradley should he get past Manny but thats about it...

Poor performance?? What fight were you watching?? He chose to take the path of greater resistance because let's face it..He could have opted to box more..Move more instead of standing and trading at close range. IMO, he wanted to prove to folks he could fight a confident cotto at his preferred weight while doing so in a manner which cotto prefers and mayweather got the best of him in a hard fought bout. He consistently beat cotto to the punch with the faster hands all night. Cotto fought well but there was definitely no controversial disparity as far as the judging. Whether you score it 118-110 or 116-112..a UD is a win either way. If this fight occurred in the days of the 15 rd champ matches, he wouldve put cotto to sleep bc dude was clearly rocked in the 12th and his stamina was fading. A very good match by both combatants though so everybody can chill with all the mayweather hating & bashing. Its unwarranted and unnecessary. Let's just give credit where credit is due or say nothing at all. As far as the wgt or any possible hand injuries, it is irrelevant because he accomplished what he set out to do.
