He just said yesterday Cotto was a weak bleeder and he swoll up too easy talk about Karma !Jr, HES BEING PROTECTED BY A BROKE ASS VEGAS powers that -be JUST LIKE THEY DID PAC MAN. If this fight was supposed to prove Mayweather better it certainly was a FAIL, Mayweather cannot get out of the way of a guy with a great left hand, this makes 3 Castillo, Delahoya, ,Cotto, All great lefthands. Its perfectley clear to me as to why Mayweather keeps Ducking Pacman , Because Jr would lose , or get killed !Cotto landed the hurting punches, not mayweather in the majority of the fight.Mayweather won the last round but otherwise a big fail for Mayweather! Pacfans yall have a solid case Mayweather would lose to your guy styles make fights, Cotto made all the mistakes Pakya would never make. I was dead wrong about this fight, I dont see the greatness in Mayweather.Guy Caint Fight lefties or even Righties with a lefthand!

Good to hear someone else saw the same fight I saw. If it wasn't against Mayweather, Cotto would have had the decision. We knew without a knockout, Cotto wasn't getting the nod. But if the fight was scored honestly round by round, I thought Cotto pulled it out.

Again there were quite a few of the early rounds, the feel out rounds went to Cotto based on activity and pressure, more punches landing even if they were meaningless, I mean Mayweather wasn't doing anything in those rounds. To me the 4th round was his first win.

Dude Just stop it. Floyd landed More,Threw More,Defended better, and his Punches were clearly the harder,cleaner shots. I know you wanted Floyd to lose. probably even paid $60 to watch him lose, but Cotto Fell Short just like the others and almost got stopped in the 12th. How do You Throw Less,Land less,Defend worse, and land less effective punches and win? Your full of it dude.....LOL. Glad you got to watch the show and see one of the Best of all-time Spank yet another fighter.

Boxing is scored round by round. To me he lost the first 3 rounds already for non activity.

Are people honestly saying Cotto won the fight? Not only did Floyd land more punches, but Cotto had to hold onto Floyd to prevent himself from falling to his knees in the 12th round. In fact, there were two times in the 12th that Cotto was clearly hurt. Anyone who thinks Floyds punches were not doing anything are likely biased against him. Cotto did a great job, the best I've seen against Mayweather; however, that is as far as it goes.

The 12th round is only one round, I agree Mayweather won that one convincingly, the same as the 4th round was convincingly. If I recall there were only 4 rounds that Mayweather won convincingly. The rest were close and I gave Cotto a lot of those rounds for activity and pressing the action and throwing more and landing more. I didn't give Mayweather points for defense.

I was thinking the same thing after the fight. I'm expecting an announcement anytime soon that he's either going on vacation or retire again.

After reading most of these comments over the years i have come to the realization that about 90% of the people who post here know nothing about boxing. If any Pac fans think this performance proves pac would beat Mayweather your boxing IQ is in the negative. And anybody who said Cotto would be embarrassed by Floyd or even funnier, Knocked out? your boxing IQ is in the negative. Anybody who says Floyd was toying with Cotto and was purposely on the ropes watch the fight again your an IDIOT.

Lets talk Facts why don't we because selective memory is running rampant in these threads. Floyds nose was clearly broken anyone who knows boxing could see it and even hear it in Floyds breathing, Floyd was busted up more then usual this is mainly because Cotto was stronger and faster then Floyd anticipated. Floyd adjusted and clearly pulled it off, came alive in the close rounds when he needed to. As far as the people citing Floyds accuracy as proof of his dominance, fact is this was Floyds worst statistical fight in his entire career landing only 32% of his punches to Cottos 27%. Fight was alot closer then judges gave credit.

For the pac fans who say Floyd got beat by Cotto more then Pac did, here's a fun FACT!!!! Pac was bandaged up after the fight because Cotto completely destroyed Pacs ear. Pac had to get surgery to remove the build up of blood from the beating he took and he had to get plastic surgery to repair the damage to his ear. There is no comparison between these 2 fights. FACT is pac is smaller, weaker and has less defense then Cotto. when A fighter begins to move against Pac, he doesnt know how to handle it. Pac couldn't catch a tired and beaten Cotto or a tired and beaten Mosely when they went on there toes, now imagine Pac rushing in to go after Mayweather, Mayweather goes into his philly shell and counters while he moves, if you think Mayweather wil stand and trade with Pac your boxing IQ is at a negative.

not a pac or mayweather fan just a boxing fan Cotto vs. mayweather in the end will prove to be a more exciting fight then Mayweather vs.pac.

horrible scorecards, they make it seem like cotto got destroyed, i mean damn that was disrespectful, cotto did better than anyone so far vs floyd, made him bleed and held his own. one thing i know for sure, cotto humbled floyd. he was acting unlike himself after the fight, he know he just went to hell and back. shots out to cotto, no need to be depressed he did damage, nobody else can say that vs floyd
