I dont like May, but man that fight was not close, and I'm Prican. Cotto landed like 3 good shot and one broke May's nose. The rest he was throwing but May's dfense was too slick. Hardly any punches landed, and Floyd was teeing off. It was a tough fight because Floyd made it tough, he even rocked Cotto in the 12th.True story.

mayweather definitely won that fight, i had it 8-4.
floyd is a great boxer, blocking a lot of cotto's punches. sure, cotto was the aggressor for most of the fight, but floyd definitely neutralized a lot of it and countered effectively.
floyd was slipping and blocking punches like crazy. last time i remember a defense like that was from the early 90s, vinny pazienza vs roy jones.
if floyd and pac ever do match up, floyd would be the favorite. his defense is amazing. i'd still give pac a decent shot, only because pac throws punches at weird angles with power that would catch floyd off-guard.Comment
