Zab has yet to figure out how to fight guys that can adjust to his speed & power. Especially after the 6th or so round. The moment he can no longer do what he wants to do with them (more often than not, its beating them to the punch), he loses all footing. My trainer calls it the "curse of the Brooklyn fighter", and I'd have to agree.

Adjusting is one of Marquez's biggest strengths, if not his biggest.

I think the fight brings a lot of entertainment value (despite what Judah haters might say), and I'd much rather watch him against Marquez than watch Alvarado & Rios against Marquez.

But i don't even give him a punchers chance.

Its possible, since Marquez is getting old, and Judah, if he fights correctly, could frustrate him with his speed and elusiveness. Marquez was never good against those types of fighters.

However, Judah always tends to fall apart. I doubt he will come into the fight disciplined enough to beat Marquez, even if he has the tools to do it.

I can give a s**t if he "deserves" the fights or not. I was referring to OP's question.

Nobody is selling him as a top p4p fighter. Everyone knows Zab is B list at best. He keeps getting big named fights cuz people still want to see Judah in big named fights. And he's proven he can give the "big names" a run for their money.

He gave Floyd all he can handle for the whole first half of their bout before his trademark collapse.

Zab is pretty damn small. If his head and neck were normal size, he'd be about 5'5".

That said, this fight is a high risk fight for JMM. Judah definitely has a shot and a loss to him -- who's considered the lesser fighter -- would put a big dent on his legacy.

I don't know if this has even been signed but i'll honestly be surprised of it has or ever does.

But, how long ago was the Floyd fight bro?

How long is he going to live off accomplishment being competitive for 4 rounds 6 years ago? Yes he gave Floyd a run for his money for 4 or 5 round. But, that was 6 years ago. How long do we stop using that as an example of what Judah is still capable of?

Why not use his most recent step up to top level competition? Like the Amir Khan fight. He basically quit, he didn't give Khan a run for his money. The version of Judah that we have now is closer to the version that fought Khan than the one that fought Floyd 6 years ago.
