I expect a focused and conditioned Naz would beat Pac, but would lose to Barrera. The likelyhood of Naz being both focused and condtioned is very unlikely though.
maybe early in his career but not in any of his last 10-15 fights.
but yeah my comparison ******, i just get mildly annoyed when
people claim barrera-nas was one sided. yes nas got outboxed but
it wasnt one sided by any stretch of the imagination.Comment

Documentries are as biased as ****.
Give me 2 examples (at minimum) of when Naz had to go away and come back ala Castillo, to make the weight. That would be .... never. You asking me for examples without having any yourself.
He always made the weight, and first time round. His frame wasnt massive, and he was a decent athlete so he never found it hard.Never said he had to be weighed more than once. He made the weight, but reports at the time said he had trouble.
And in his own words he never found it hard, nor worried about making weight. He worried about his hair more to be quite honest.
In his own wordshe also said he would never be knocked down.
Lack of height and reach will cause him major problems. How about no. Do you want me to go and get you some pictures of the "Tale Of The Tape's" and show you those then show you the outcome? In some fights he had a 9-10 inch reach disadvantage and still outboxed outjabbed and outcountered his opponent.
Bigger fighters will find him easier to hit. Wake up. The agile fighters couldnt hit him.
Really? They couldnt even hit him! Kelly snapped his head back with jabs, as did Barrera.
Now you are trying to tell me that John Ruiz would hit him more than them? I simply disagree.....
Use your brain. Im talking about super feather and Lightwieghts, who are fast, and stronger than Naz.
About being put down you mentioned. Daniel Alicea, Kevin Kelley and Augie Sanchez. Of the three fighters Augie Sanchez's were the most legit in terms of score-wise,
He was knocked down by all three, Alicia rocked him, then he fell on his arse. KNOCK DOWN. Did Naz say he was just off balance, and that right hand didnt snap his head back???
Kelly also knocked him down with one flush shot in the 1st. Watch the fight. It was a great shot. And very much a knock down. Unless Naz said different.
and even those didnt count.... Daniel Alicea KD was a blatent slip which took him around about 0.23425 split seconds to get up from.
Irrelevant.
Nevertheless it was counted as a KD, so i will conceed that one, but if you really want to look at that fight. Watch the next round. That is some ownage and one of the best combo's Naz has ever done. Come to think of it, the combo that finished Augie Sanchez and put him in a neck brace and in hospital was one of the best also.
Irrelevant. Finally we come to Kevin Kelley. I think that of the 3 KD's in that fight if that is the number (havent watched in a while) by Kelley, one of them is a decent shot. By no stretch of the imagination did Kelley own him. He didnt outbox him, he got outboxed. Just look at the cards and the result.
And your telling me to watch the fight??? lol
As ive mentioned, he jabs Naz into the ropes, he knocked him down in the first, he lands some huge punches forcing Naz to touch down. He was knocked down, and at times out boxed. Like i said originally.
Barrerra boxed his head off? Go watch the fight again.....
Naz was owned! Simple.
Your seriously biased towards Naz. Maybe im biased against him.
I was a huge fan, but watching him fight Robinson again pissed me off. He is a disrecpectful twat.Last edited by The Noose; 12-06-2005, 04:31 PM.Comment

Hamed's biggest problem is that he never had it to start with. He fought old fighters on their way out and bums until he fought Barrera. When guys like Medina frustrated him, then he resorted to pro wrestling moves. (Which made it that much more awesome when Barrera rammed his head into the ringpost). Hamed is just an unorthodox joke. He's been claiming a comeback since he left the sport. I remember the first time he was coming back he ended up losing his HBO deal because he wouldn't fight a suitable opponent. I'll be laughing and cashing in when he does comeback to a beating.Comment

I cant blame him for sitting on his millions, but to me he just quit.
All that talk for so many years and when he had his chance to show what he was made of (trying to get a rematch) he just ****ed off.Comment
