Yes, many fighters have been beaten, even badly, and remain somebody's favourite fighter.

Naz is different. Because of his humiliating performance against Barrera, he chose to leave the boxing scene. Don't forget, we're not talking about a guy who won a bunch and lost some fights too, he simply couldn't amange to keep fighting because he lost a single match in dramatically embarrassing fashion. What does that say about Naz "the fighter"? Not much of a fight in that man after all, I'd say.

If he ever returns, he'll have his fans and detractors, but worst of all he'll have his severe menatl softness that comes with not defending yourself when faced with adversity. Boxing is not for *******, and Naz klet himself be tagged that way by refusing to fight anyone in the top-tier again.

Naz may have power, but he needs alot more than that. As his last few fights showed, he relied too much on his power, and when the KO doesnt come, the fight gets boring and messy.

He had trouble making weight at featherweight, so he must move up a division, where i think his lack of height and reach will cause major problems, plus the fact that the bigger fighters take a shot better, will find him easier to hit, and are stronger than him.

At featherweight he was being caught and put down, out jabbed (by Kelly and Barrera), so i think the bigger fighters will find him awkward but beatable.

Plus, i believe Naz misses the limelight, nothing else.

After a brief comeback, he will get bored of all the training and leave for good.

He may beat some fighters, but it wont last long.

Naz's heart is not in the fight game. It came easy to him and it departed easily when he did not dedicate himself to the game, like the other top guys who would love to get at him today.

There might actually be some jostling to see which of the top guys gets a crack at Naz, if he comes back. Why? because Naz will have great drawing power and a small fortune awaits him and his opponent. Also though, because he'll probably only fight once against a real live opponent, get his ass handed to him again, and then nobody else will get another crack.

              1) True
              2) False to the point that i think you have seen no more than 3 Naz fights.
              3) False. If there is a stronger word than False.

EXIG ... got that PM about boxrec. It's Pac that I'd like to see Naz fight, after porving himself in a solid warm-up. I think his chances are far better against pac than either Marquez, Barrera or Morales, at whatever weight they agree on.

Pac has only one game plan, which he cannot be successful when he deviates from. he's extremely prdeictable and not very adjustable in the ring. Sure he's trainable, but his corner can't get him to adjust well during a fight. I figure if Naz has anything left it'll be his power and Pac is ripe for getting hit while comin' in.

Naz's biggest challeng won;t be how to hit Pac (as it was with Barrera), it'll be how to avaoid him, which I figure he could do also.

Naz KO Pac inside 9, seriously.

This comes from a guy who is NOT a Naz fan by any stretch.

If he comes back, which weight class would he be in? Is he still gonna be a featherweight? from the recent pics I seen of him, it looks like hes about 170 right now.

                      nas-barrera wasnt a shutout like winky-trinidad or even raheem-morales

barrera controlled but nas still took some rounds and competed throughout.
nas did alot better than barrera did against pacquiao
