11th time at least...... I only brought it up as a parallel to fighting pac in '13 or whenever he fights him (if he ever does) as compared to pac in '09-'10.
Thats it, i was talking about fights floyd could have that would put his reume in the top 25 atg status. Maybe you remember that.
The funny part is that its not even a big deal, but yall got all worked up over nothing.
Would you prefer if i put all 10 times i answered your question in one post next?
You still haven't answered the question.
Are you saying that Mayweather should have fought Shane in 2006?
Yes or no.
I'm not interested in what you were comparing it to.
I've asked this simple question time and time again and you haven't answered it. So what is it?

No, but it would be nice if you used analogies that enforced your original premise. Clearly Mosley did not. Neither did Hatton. Yet, you were trying to establish a pattern of Floyd not doing enough to get better fights when clearly, in those examples, that was not the case. So what you have is a one-off here with the Pacquiao situation. And if you want to say that, just stick with it. But know that the other guy deserves as much blame, if not more.
At the end of the day, coming from a Floyd fan who is upset at the choice of his next opponent. Floyd fought who he was supposed to fight as soon as he could, as soon as it made the most business sense, as soon as Arum was out of the picture. And before you bite my head off, the guys who Floyd didn't fight(all Top rank guys coincidentally), ended up, imo, not mattering. Margarito does not matter, and imo he would have just been taking up space as a "he doesn't count cause he's a cheater" kind of win on Floyd's resume.
Imo, Cotto is nothing on Floyd's resume. He wouldn't have been nothing if he was an 07-08 win, or a 2012, 2013, 2014 whatever. Same difference. A fighter who's okay, but loses to good fighters, and is nowhere near being great. Margarito was an okay fighter who was cheating, therefore he was "good" in his prime, but again, like Cotto, not a great fighter.
So Floyd missed out on having two okay fighters on his resume that I would have mentioned right along with Judah, Baldomir, Gatti. Imo Marquez is a greater win than Cotto or Margarito. And he proved he ended up being a better fighter than people gave him credit for(including myself) in 9/2009, by beating the "#1" WW, "#1 P4P fighter", "FOTD" Manny pacquaio 2 years after that shut out performance that seemingly looked like he didn't belong at that weight when in fact he just didn't belong in the same ring as the guy who shut him out, something both Cotto and Margarito failed to do(beating Pacquiao).
Floyd has better names on his resume than Cotto and Margarito. And imo, Marquez is a greater win than Pacquaio because Marquez>Pacquiao. The fight of the decade happened, and it was Mayweather vs Marquez. The next best fight is Mayweather vs Martinez. Move along Pacquiao, you don't belong in the same ring as Floyd, you ****ing fraud. Good luck with Bradley, cause you're gonna need it.
Ah man, I love my posts
Cotto on Floyd's resume doesn't matter. Why put him on there?? Another thing, I bet we'll get Canelo on there before we ever get Martinez.
Also better names doesn't mean they were better at the time of the fights. Oscar was faded & Mosley was shot. Cotto now is a better fighter than Mosley was in 2010.
Names mean nothing if the fighter is shot, otherwise Canelo is well on his way to atg status starting with robbing a nursing home to pick up a W over the name of Mosley.

Lol. Good.
Thats all respectable- and i agree with some, and disagree with some. You're not acting like a child and Creating phantom arguments for no reason.
It was a pretty simple question. If the win would've been better at 140 because Hatton held the lineal title, does that mean the Baldomir win was better than a Maragrito win at that time?
No........it doesnt. I also wrote legit champ on soke posts.
Margs at 147>baldo at 147
Hatton at 140>hatton at 147. And you agree with that. For guy like dominicano and dan who think he's the same at both weights, the lineal, real champ at 140 is a better win than the same guy in a division that he doesnt hold that distinction at no?
Or have you been lying in the past when you've expressed both of the above sentiments yourself?
