What's wrong with that though? If you controlled the fight and have it in the bag why stretch yourself and leave yourself open for bad things to happen. What you consider boring, a lot of us consider being smart in the ring. Anyone can beat anyone now a days, it's survive and move on sport.
Are Boring American Fighters Killing the Sport?

I find it exciting because their raw talent is so good that they can just press their will through their boxing skills. They don't have to go head first and swing like a ****** like an Orlando Salido. Nothing against brawlers but I find it pretty pathetic and that's why the only Mexican I've really enjoy recent is JMM.
JMM can be very good to watch at times, his fights against Diaz, Katsidis and Pacquiao II are some of his best.
I hate fighters that spoil, that prefer to stop their opponent from boxing than outbox them. Ward, Mayweather, Hopkins all spoilersComment

No need to debate it though. We all like different parts of the game.Comment

I agree about Alexander, Ward and Dawson. The frustrating thing is that Ward and Dawson are good enough to show more style than they do. Alexander less so.Comment

when an American fighter is exciting like Mitchell and Bam Bam Rios (yes he is American...BORN IN AMERICA)...then people b!tch and complain about their "LACK OF DEFENSE" so they just can't win with Certain Fans
lol as if fighters in other countries are really more exciting hahaha it is a lot of ***** fighters from ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, while the may not clinch as much, watching some BUM getting his face smashed up because he has no head movement is not really all that exciting for me, watching to good BOXERS trying to figure out a way to defeat each other...that is boxing
Whats killing the sport is GREEDY OWNS AND NETWORKS, as well as the IGNORANT INTERNET FANS who b!tch and complain about every match up and every fight but yet they are not even the ones buying the PPV'sLast edited by KnockUTheFukOut; 05-02-2012, 04:45 PM.Comment

TS would have a point if he was talking about fighters from all countries but by singling out american fighters he made himself look like an idiot. Ward and Dawson are definitely killing the sport as opposed to exciting fighters like the Klitsckos.Comment
