I don't get your point then. Are you just singling out the very best fighters from America or American fighters in general. You diss the ones that are exciting but the world class ones you hate.

BTW, Devon Alexander was pretty exciting whipping the **** out of a fighter that most considered to be one of the most exciting fighters in the world. Maybe you just don't like Americans doing well and just want them to brawl and lose.

The conversation was about exciting fighters. A part of what makes a fighter exciting is the fact they are willing to mix it up and be vulnerable. Thats been the case for decades.

so are we talking elite fighters or exciting fighters?

figure out wtf ur talking about and then get back to us

America has produced some of the most entertaining fighters in boxing.

              Sugar Ray Robinson
              Muhammad Ali
              Tommy Hearns
              Mike Tyson
              Roy Jones Jr

To name only a few, but recently the standard of their fighters have dropped considerably in the excitement category.

Fighters such as Hopkins, Mayweather, and now Alexander, Dawson, Ward bring very little excitement to the sport.

Less flair, less balls, less guts and glory, is this the future of American boxing?

One up and coming American fighter I enjoy seeing fight though Peter Quilin.

I guess it just depends what you like. I don't like Hopkins or really Alexander but watching Mayweather, Ward, and Dawson is pretty damn exciting to me. It's always enjoyable to see someone master the craft of boxing. I don't need kayos to enjoy the sport.

Jumped your post too and didn't even realize you listed Berto V Ortiz, which was the fight of the year. So, lets get this straight American boxing is boring yet two Americans were able to square off in the fight of the year......
