He had the personality and awesome power to become great but after he cruised to victory agaisnt valuev the fame got to him and he got boring to watch and only fought guys who he would beat. To top it off the performance against wlad was a joke and never looked to win the fight. He robbed fans of there money and reitred.

Ortiz is a arrogant prick and the biggest hypocrite in boxing today.

The **** he pulled in the floyd fight and then put all the blame on floyd is world class BS

Just looking at him makes me angry, he just looks so arrognat and full of himself.

Maidana got up from 3 knockdowns and when on to ****ed him up bad, instead of acknowledge Maidana`s awe inspiring performance he whens on to say **** like he was not himself that day or some BS while flaunting that arrogant face.

Yes I hate him and want to fight him really bad

Are there any fighters that you were a big fan of and something for some reason made you change your tune about them?

For me, its Tito Trinidad. Big fan of his through the come up and all the big wins and stardom. Then the Hopkins fight. It wasn't even about the fight itself. He took an ass whupping and sometimes that happens. Its about what happened afterwards.

He quit. He went, grabbed a quick pick me up win against a no hoper and went away, while still in his prime. He comes back, beats up on Mayorga a couple of years later and then fights Winky Wright in a dangerous fight and got beat. And what does he do? Quits again the sport, only to come back blown up just looking for a quick pay day 3 years later. Luckily, RJJ beat that ass in just a sad and depressing display of boxing and he's finally gone from the tube.

Just a spoiled guy who couldn't take losing and just quit, and I'd rather watch guys who pick themselves up after fights and soldier on.

            Anyone else?
Mayweather. I was one of the people who loudly touted him as being the next p4p #1 just after his corrales fight. what he does in the ring is amazing but the crap that he spews while in the spotlight embarrasses me. i don't hate him but i really don't like his character.

I didn't love him, but one guy I used to have huge respect for is Lennox Lewis. He had an outstanding career and is one of, maybe even the most, technically skilled heavyweight of all time. But the way he denied Klitschko a rematch after he promised him one in the post fight interview really made me lose respect for him, particularly because I empathised with him when Rid**** Bowe ducked him.

Despite his great talent and the fact that he seems to be a nice guy outside the ring, I've never been able to look at him the same.

Manny Pacquiao until I met his fans...lol..I joke I joke...I kid kid...

I don't "hate" or really dislike any athlete, there's a few dudes who I had high expectations for who ended up dissapointing >>...

Paul Williams until he stated nothing about his style needed to change after he got KO'd by Sergio. He had incredible potential and failed to mature and develop into the fighter he could've been, instead just makin a s**t load of excuses. The Lara robbery didn't help.

Chad Dawson...after the Ian Gardner fight in 05 i said he was gonna climb to the top of the supper middleweight division. He ended up becoming Light Heavyweight champ, but not in the form that I expected. I had a really high ceiling for em and he's disappointed me despite what his record might state.

When I was younger and didn't know much about boxing I was pretty excited about a fellow Indo being a world champ.
Now I can't say I hate him, I still want him to succeed but the Indonesian Dragon is just like The Italian Dragon. Talented fighter but won't fight outside of his backyard.
