Fighters you loved; but later hated?

To contrast with the other wonderful thread...

Are there any fighters that you were a big fan of and something for some reason made you change your tune about them?

For me, its Tito Trinidad. Big fan of his through the come up and all the big wins and stardom. Then the Hopkins fight. It wasn't even about the fight itself. He took an ass whupping and sometimes that happens. Its about what happened afterwards.

He quit. He went, grabbed a quick pick me up win against a no hoper and went away, while still in his prime. He comes back, beats up on Mayorga a couple of years later and then fights Winky Wright in a dangerous fight and got beat. And what does he do? Quits again the sport, only to come back blown up just looking for a quick pay day 3 years later. Luckily, RJJ beat that ass in just a sad and depressing display of boxing and he's finally gone from the tube.

Just a spoiled guy who couldn't take losing and just quit, and I'd rather watch guys who pick themselves up after fights and soldier on.

    Anyone else?

Used to like A Mere Con but after all his excuses he lost his hard earned respect.

Man you guys offer no discussion...any particular reason

As far as Kahn...I'm still a fan...but that is fading. He took a loss that he probably shouldn't have his last go out, and he's been *****ing, so I get that. Hopefully he lays out Peterson and moves up and gets another big fight.

Amir Khan...was really looking forward to see how he developed but then once he won his world title, he just became a big-headed prick who makes all the excuses in the world after he lost. Can't stand him or his "team".

Prince Naseem...was a massive fan of his. His style was so unorthodox, he had tremendous power in both hands and was entertaining as hell. But once he got his a$$ handed to him by Barrera, he then took an easy fight and dipped from the sport. Up until the last year or two I really did dislike the guy but its kind of evaporating slightly now.

David Haye...was a massive fan. Then he stepped up to HW & did the biz against Valuev (no matter how boring the fight) and then after whooping on Ruiz, he gave us two garbage fights against Fraudley (even the he KO'd him) and then got his a$$ handed to him by Wlad and then made the ridiculous excuse about his toe and then never fought again but still runs his mouth. Give it a rest.

To be fair I can't stand Margarito now (obvious reasons) but then again I never liked the dude in the first place.

                  Joe calzaghe.

When he was young i was pretty excited about his career, then in his mid to late twenties i and most other people in the UK were wanting him to go to America, and he stayed here and fought a lot of mediocre fighters.

Dam I forgot about Joe but then again I don't think I hated him, I just really disliked the guy towards the end of his career.

I just felt his resume was really "padded out" in the end and he didn't take enough risks when he was in his prime.
