I think that's been the primary theme. Kinda sad really. I don't mind fighters losing, hell I expect it and still support it
My issue with Trinidad was just the quitting when the going got tough. Like pulling a Vince Young on your team, I can't ever respect it.Comment

I can't say that I hate the guy because its only his style that isn't pleasing to me but Wilfred Benetez looked great as a kid and boxed beautifully also had some good "pop" on his punches all at the tender age of 15yrs. He defeated a living legend (at the very end of his career) but still won and was on his way to become an excellant all around boxer. Some where along the line someone landed something on him and then he became a "waiter" and counter puncher and lost his early styling that was on the same par as a young Leonard and Howard Davis. I believe he was on his way to develop a solid punch because his techniques were sound but his mind got changed as so many minds do when they experience "pressure" and believe they can't over come it. To bad he was one of the most talented kids I'd ever seen at 15 to 19 yrs old. Ray.Comment

Yeah, in most cases it does. The thing is, that being from PR, he will always be compared to Tito, and Tito is the nicest guy in the world. I've met him a bunch of times and he stops to talk with you, makes jokes, everything. I know everyone is different, but if there are famous boxers that are totally approachable, why do you have to be a ****? And it's not only that, I really hate how he constantly has to drink and go out. Look at Floyd - total discipline. I respect and admire that.Cotto's a prick???
In interviews, he seems real cool and like a really nice guy.
But when you watch him interract with others, it's not that far off to think he's a prick.
I met the lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, one of my favorite groups of all-time hands down, at the LAX airport back in the 90's, and Anthony Kiedis, their singer, was a f**king a$$hole. I still love the Chili Peppers though, and support their music no doubt. Fame changes you, I'm sure it has to.
Amen.I use to support Miguel Cotto but after he got beat down by Margarito he used Margarito's wrapping scandal to make an excuse for his loss. I know I am going to get criticized but it was never proven that Margs cheated before the Mosely fight, so IMo he beat everyone prior to Mosely fair and square.. So **** the cry-baby Cotto!!!!Comment

Used to love Paul Williams, but the way he acted after the Lara fight...I root for him to lose every time out now. Chavez Sr was my idol but I soured on him after the Sweet Pea fight and now as an announcer he is a straight d*ckhead. The way he panders for Sulaiman and the WbC is disgusting as well.
I used to like Arreola but it turns out he's simply a lazy a$$ heavyweight.Comment
