Gatti was past his prime-still good, and it's Floyd's best performance, not best fighter he's fought. Gatti was still the #2 JWW with the WBC title, coming off 5 straight decent wins. He avenged his Ward loss twice, Dorin, Branco, Leija. It's not like Gatti was a Chuck Wepner or some s**t. Gatti was a game fighter in 2005, and when Mayweather f**ked him up the way he did, it was impressive.
ya, i dont know what to think know. Mayweather dismantling gatti so easily certainly was impressive in itself, but with that said, gatti was past his prime, still good, but past his prime and was never a good 'boxer' from the get go. His boxing skills were continuously improving, but at the same time at the time of their fight were no where near a level to compete with mayweather.
Mosley Rd. 2 is the greatest round I've ever seen Floyd in so I gotta go with the Moslet fight, followed by either the Judah or Corley fight (because Judah was very game early on)...
1. Mosley
2. Corley
3. Judah
I don't think I have a 4 or 5... Rest of them were just okay but in these fights, Floyd had to respond to real live drama... Regardless of the commentators pretending like Castillo was winning rounds for holding and hitting, that fight was boring and not really that competitive IMO
Chico fought a few more times at 130, he was able to make that weight with relative ease.
And how does that prove that he wasn't weight drained that night?
Just because he made weight again doesn't mean he didn't have problems making it that night. Watching the fight you can't tell me he wasn't weight drained. That was not the same Chico that fought Castillo or anyone else.
****, he came in on fight night 16lbs heavier than Mayweather. If you put on 16lbs in a day there's something wrong, that's a ton of weight.
Kaydub, you're reaching dude. In their second fight, Pacquiao put on 16lbs in one night to come in 145lbs on fight night from a 129lbs weigh in. It happens.

On point.
Floyd's dilemma is making his wins look virtually easy and ending the fights unscratched and unswollen. So his most significant wins are discredited by non-fans.
