Winky-Trinidad is another example and they talk about it during the fight. Trinidad hit harder, winky is stronger.
Here we go. I enjoy Mayweather and his style but you guys are delusional if you think Mayweather is gonna just light up Miguel. He's not stronger and he isn't going to outclass Miguel. He's going to win a lot of rounds but they are going to be close with Mayweather edging on activity. It's not gonna be a blow out and tbh at the end of the fight when you look at who was hurt more often or in the most trouble you'll say it was Mayweather.

Floyd struggled with much worse fighters, many older and not as gritty as mig.
Are we blind to ignore this ?
      Floyd is in real trouble.

Cotto will have success the first 2-3 rounds until Mayweather times him. After that Cotto will get hit more and more as the fight progresses. I am not a Mayweather fan but dude got skills and Cotto gets hit way, way too much. He got hit by Margarito in the last fight and that is a slow ass boxer if I ever seen one. I got a wide UD or a late stoppage due to cuts or the towel being thrown in. People forget Mayweather is about to go to jail so he needs to make a lasting impression while he is gone. Matter of fact I never ever ever ever ever bet money on anything but I am going to drop a 100 bones with whoever wants to bet me at wherever I watch the fight that Mayweather is getting a W.

In fact for multiple reasons I really hope he does stand toe to toe and attempt to be the aggressor.
I don't think he has any choice, Cotto is the more mobile boxer. Mosley and Ortiz were catching FMJ with good shots, Cotto will too. Should be a good fight.

Thank you! All these Floyd nutthuggers forget about Castillo whooping that ass in their first fight and getting robbed, spare me the BS that Floyd won, I have the fight on DVD if anybody wants to see it again!

            Keys to a Cotto victory in this fight are;
            1. Cotto's punk ass better have trained for a 20 round fight not his usual BS 6-8 round fight and tired ass the rest of the fight.
            2. No head hunting like he did against Margarito 2, which btw Margarito was still coming forward when the fight was stopped so Cotto did not impress.
            3. Go back to your bread and butter, body shots, body shots, body shots! Mayweather is not easy to hit to the head but if you soften him up to the body....
            4. See no. 1
            5. See no. 1
            and
            6. SEE NO. 1!!! Stamina is his key to whooping Floyd, that's it! Cotto has all the tools to beat Floyd except that big one, STAMINA! Let's just hope that his new trainer, being Cuban and all, worked his ass like Fidel and Che Guevarra attacking Batista during the Revolution!

We will see in a few days. Cotto will be tired by the end of the fight and Mayweather will be landing at will. Cotto will win 3 rounds max.

Cottos training looks gimmicky and his own former trainer watched him recently and said he looks slow. Mayweather was training at 2 am during the press tour while cotto was sleeping before the actual training camp even started.

My main reason for wanting him to come forward is I cant stand it when Floyd fights backing up, he did it against Baldomir and it was really hard to watch.

Mayweather can stay in the pocket...AND STILL MAKE HIS OPPONENT MISS HIM...A LOT!

So no it won't be any "TRADING PUNCHES" Mayweather will be landing and Cotto missing or he will be come hesitant to throw punches because when he does he is getting countered so much
