See the thing is that I agree with all the circumstances surrounding the fight being made. Mosley did jump in the ring with the callout. Everyone said Floyd must fight him. Floyd did choose Mosley over Cotto because Mosley was indeed #1.

All that is true. What I'm saying is that Mosley was shot. Floyd does deserve his credit for the fight, it's not his fault Mosley's better days were in the rear view mirror, but he still was shot. That's all I'm saying.

As much as I like Cotto I'm not convinced he's ever recovered from the 1st Margarito bout. Jennings is several levels below, Clottey gave him a tussle, Pacquiao toyed with him, Foreman had one good leg, Mayorga hasn't beaten a top fighter since Forrest (a 5 years past his prime Vargas doesn't count) & the win over Margarito was impressive but... well, you know.

THIS FIGHT is Cotto's real measuring stick & I'm afraid the fight will go however Floyd wants it to.

Hope I'm wrong though as I'm watching it in a houseful of Puerto Ricans....
