Some rules from the maestro's handbook here:

4. Always outthink your opponent. It's your mission to execute a gameplan to stay one step ahead of them at all times... even if their trainer and lead strategist is a man who uses his website to sell Weekend At Bernie's II on Betamax.

5. Control your output. This is the most important step. Feel like you want to throw more than three punches a round? Don't be foolhardy in the sport.

Again I'll ask the question. Is it Hopkins age that allows his fans to excuse what they are watching? If I see another post with "considering his age" I'm going to crack. If he's willing to cash the purse then age is no excuse.

Agreed. Davis40's got a bit of a leaking vagina over it, with the old standby classic "Hopkins could beat you in a fight" routine, which makes a lot of sense, but other than that... nothing.
